Batch of auction listings close this evening
The above image is a screen shot of my eBay auction selling page. These listings end later this evening. I’ve sorted them by price, with the the top ten showing. So far the painting of Jennifer Love Hewitt is in the lead; but as I have often discovered, that may very well change by the time all of the listings end.
I have a total of 18 pieces in this evening’s batch, and all but one have bids. The only piece without any bids is the pastel painting of Four Eggs in a Carton. That, too, may change.

Donut Painting done this afternoon
I bought some donuts today and decided to paint one. This one is entitled "Still Life #156: Raspberry Jelly Donut," size 12"x16". I will be listing this piece of artwork for sale on eBay in my next batch of paintings.
And yes, after I finished painting the donut, I ate it!
In the meantime, I am quite excited about the current batch which will end on Sunday, October 26.

Made Chicken Stew
Today I cooked myself some chicken stew, a recipe I originally got from Giada deLaurentiis. It has boneless skinless chicken breast meat, carrot, celery, onion, tomato, fresh basil, and seasonings. And I substituted chickpeas for kidney beans. Riding shotgun with that bad boy are some cheese bread french sticks from the local Stater Bros. Market.
The stew turned out well, but I imagine the leftovers for tomorrow will be even better.

My first blog entry
I’ve created this blog for the purpose of sharing news and my scattered thoughts with anyone out there who may be interested. I plan to showcase my current projects, including artwork for sale on and off eBay, commissions, etc. If I go anywhere special or participate in any noteworthy event, I’ll try to include that as well. Photos will be included whenever possible.
I have looked at the MySpace accounts of many different people, and I find them to be utterly cluttered and confusing. That is why I would prefer putting this kind of internet presence together rather than a MySpace account. However, in the near future I may create a MySpace page, if for no other reason than to include a link from there to here.
